Day 12 - Rapid City SD - 2816 Miles
Today was a day trip to the Badlands National Park and Mt Rushmore National Memorial. I planned to recoup a big chunk of my Park Pass cost in one day. I saved $15 admission at the Badlands but Mt Rushmore has no admission charge. It has an $11 parking fee. I tried showing my pass but they were completely unimpressed. I think I've been scammed, but there are lots of national parks and I have lots of time to spend seeing them.
